Football Legend Stanley ‘Screamer’ Tshabalala Has Died
Former Bafana Bafana coach Stanley ‘Screamer’ Tshabalala has passed away. He was 75 years old.
Stanley Tshabalala died from injuries he sustained after being shot during a break-in at his home in March this year.
He had been hospitalized since the incident and never fully recovered.

Orlando Pirates Confirms Stanley Tshabalala’s Death
Stanley Tshabalala’s death was confirmed by Orlando Pirates Football Club on X. According to the club, Tshabalala passed away yesterday afternoon at the hospital.
“The Tshabalala and Orlando Pirates Family is announcing the sad and untimely passing of Stanley Tshabalala this afternoon in the Hospital.
Bra Stan, as everybody affectionately referred to him, succumbed to the injuries he suffered when he was shot in March this year.”
Condolence Messages Trickle In
Stanley Tshabalala was a former Bafana Bafana and Sundowns coach. He was also the Orlando Pirates technical director.
His tragic death has left Mzansi and the football community devastated. Condolence messages have already started pouring in on social media as people mourn his passing.
Meanwhile, South Africans are decrying the high rate of crime in the country, calling on the police to arrest the armed robbers who shot him.
