Former Joyous Celebration star and gospel singer, Sabata Masoka, has found himself in a dire situation as his own brother allegedly sent out inkabi to take him out.
Sabata said this happened after exposing a fraudulent sale of their family home. His life is now at stake and he is also homeless.

Background: The Sale of the Family Home
Sabata Masoka hails from Mbizana in the Eastern Cape, South Africa. The house where he grew up was supposed to be their inheritance, a shared asset among siblings.
However, Sabata’s own brother allegedly sold the house without everyone’s consent, disregarding the concerns of other family members.
“We grew up in, the house that was supposed to be our inheritance, but our brother sold it fraudulently without our consent. He acted alone, ignoring the fact that the house was a shared asset, and that we all had a right to it. I am currently without a home.
“I opened a case to address this issue, but it has not yet been resolved. Recently, I discovered that my brother sold the house. The new owners of the house informed me that they were not aware of my existence.
“Even the agent involved in the sale was misled, as my brother claimed to be the only one left in the family. This is not true, as I am one of several surviving family members.”
Threats On The Life Of Former Joyous Celebration Star Sabata Masoka
Sabata revealed to Zimoja has been receiving death threats from people claiming to be inkabi sent by his own brother. These threats come as retaliation for his efforts to fight for their family home.
“I’ve been getting calls from people who confess to be sent by my brother to kill me because am fighting him for selling our home. I am not scared to meet my creator – my brother thinks he can bully me out just because he is knows gangsters and Inkabi- I am not scared of him or his people.”
