Tragic Farewell: Shebeshxt Misses Daughter’s Burial
In a heart-wrenching turn of events, popular rapper Shebeshxt, who still recovering from the tragic accident that claimed his daughter’s life, missed her burial.
The frail rapper was unable to attend the burial of his daughter, Onthatile Chuene. Upon seeing her coffin, he broke down in tears.

Fragile and Heartbroken: Shebeshxt Arrives in a Wheelchair with Oxygen Support
The funeral, held in Shebeshxt’s hometown of Lebowakgomo, saw the artist arriving at his home in a minibus, needing assistance to be placed into a wheelchair. Visibly struggling to breathe, he carried an oxygen cylinder, adding to the sombre atmosphere.
As Shebeshxt was pushed to the marquee, wrapped in a mini blanket and wearing a woollen hat, he acknowledged the presence of the many mourners who had gathered to support him and his family. Security details and medical staff were by his side.
A Father’s Grief
The moment Shebeshxt saw his daughter’s coffin, he broke down in tears, a scene that prompted many mourners to join him in his anguish, Sunday World reveals.
Due to his health, Shebeshxt could only attend part of the service, arriving near its conclusion.

The funeral drew a large crowd. The crowd, a mix of young fans dressed in homage to the star, politicians, and artists from Limpopo and beyond, looked on sympathetically.

Onthatile Chuene tragically died on June 9 in a head-on collision on the R37 near Smelters Mine, south of Polokwane. Shebeshxt’s Volkswagen Polo collided with a heavy vehicle, leaving Onthatile so disfigured that family members were advised against viewing her body.
Shebeshxt was en route to perform at the ANC Siyanqoba Rally in Lebowakgomo at the time of the accident.
