As a young 17-year-old, he found himself taking on various odd jobs just to make ends meet and put food on the table. “I used to cut grass for a living. That’s right, I used to work for the municipality, honestly. Seriously, I used to wear overalls, it was tough. I used to do plumbing, fix sewerage drains, whatever it took, when I was around 17 or 18,” he said.
While Kabza De Small’s journey from grass-cutting to greatness wasn’t an easy one, his perseverance eventually paid off.
