Thabo Bester

“He Bought Cars For Some Celebrities”| Exploring Thabo Bester’s Prison Lifestyle And Business Ventures From Behind Bars

As more details regarding Thabo Bester continue to be disclosed, it has been revealed that the convicted rapist and murderer was linked to another wealthy woman besides Nandipha Magudumana and he also bought cars for some celebrities.

Thabo Bester was engaged to a billionaire businesswoman while he was serving time at the Magaung Correctional Centre before he persuaded Nandipha Magudumana to join him in his criminal activities.

These details emerged in an eNCA interview with Bester’s former prison mate.

An anonymous inmate shared their thoughts on Thabo Bester’s life behind bars in Magaung prison, where he was serving a life sentence for the 2012 conviction of rape and murder.

The inmate said of Bester:

“He is a psychopath…he would sit in his cell for two or three months. He was anti-social.”

According to the anonymous inmate, Bester was focused on his business ventures that he managed from his prison cell.

Before Nandipha Magudumana’s involvement, another significant person was also a part of Bester’s life.

He continued:

“He was linked to a CEO. She was engaged to Thabo Bester in 2016”. While the man on the phone says the woman’s name, eNCA bleeps it out.

Actress Simz Ngema recently admitted to visiting Bester in prison back in 2018. Ngema claimed that the visit was solely for business purposes, as she was seeking payment for services rendered through Bester’s company, 21st Century Media.

Earlier this month, the Royal AM CEO trended over allegations linking her to the convicted criminal.

This, after the popular Twitter account Man’s Not Barry Roux tweeted:

“Shauwn Mkhize aka Mamkhize is accused of allegedly visiting Thabo Bester in jail before he walked out”.

The Twitter account later backtracked on the allegations.

News24 journalist Karyn Maughn made claims about a possible connection between a “well-known celebrity” and Bester, amid the recent wild allegations surrounding him.

Maughn also alleged that a billionaire businesswoman had visited Bester at the Mangaung Correctional Centre, adding fuel to the ongoing speculation.

Clarifying her own comments, Maughan tweeted:

“The prison records provided by @G4S do not list Shauwn Mkhize as having visited Thabo Bester in prison. She was not one of the celebrities that we know who visited him.

“I’m not sure where her name entered into this story. I certainly did not name her”.
