Idols SA Star Lloyiso’s Song “Speak” Featured in All American Drama Series
South African singer and songwriter Lloyiso’s song “Speak” from his recently released EP was featured in an episode of the American drama series All American. The excited musician shared the scene from the show on his Twitter timeline and expressed his joy with TshisaLIVE.
Lloyiso said that the song perfectly fit the show and the scene, and that moments like this are precisely why he made the song. Speaking to TshisaLIVE in a previous interview, he said that he knew “Speak” would be one of his special releases.

The Inspiration behind Loyiso’s song “Speak”
According to Lloyiso, he never intended to write a song called “Speak.” Instead, it just came out while he was singing, and he didn’t even know that’s how he was feeling at the time. He added that he knew something was going on, and sometimes people feel overwhelmed without knowing how they feel until they write it down or speak about it.
Lloyiso also explained that “Speak” was confirmation that what he had been feeling was not unique to him. He had been feeling like he was searching for something that wasn’t there. He wanted to feel the emotions and vulnerability from someone, but he wasn’t getting it. This is a feeling that many people experience, whether it’s with friends or family.
Aiming for Global Success
Lloyiso is set to record music overseas, and he believes that he will fit in perfectly. He has always known that he’s meant for global success and never saw himself as just a South African artist. His plan is to release as much music as he can and get himself out there to travel the world and be himself.
