The actress, who is known for her role as the villainous Sihle on the just ended Isibaya is reported to have been at loggerheads with her husband, Mugabe Ngwenya leading to their separation just last month.

Last month, iHarare reported that Zinhle dropped her husband’s surname on social media and is now going by her maiden name, Mabena.

Not long after, Zinhle was exposed for being behind the accident which left 2 people dead and one paralyzed for life – but the actress was never charged. It is alleged that she overtook two cars in high speed before getting into an oncoming lane leading to the accident.

A month later on a separate incident, her husband was shot at by unknown hitmen at his home.

After some digging a recent 28th January incident, the Gauteng SAPS found evidence that she was responsible for that and have since arrested the actress on allegations of attempted murder of her husband and for being involved in the death his bodyguard.

“Following an intensive investigation into the shooting incident that happened on 28 January 2021, police found evidence that linked the woman to the attempted murder and murder case,” the statement continued.

The actress will be appearing in Pretoria Magistrate court today, 17 February 2021.
