apper and television personality Jub Jub has cried foul after some accused him of having a hand in the Shebeshxt accident.
Shebeshxt, whose real name is Lehlogonolo Katlego Chauke, was involved in a tragic car accident on June 8, 2024.
The Fatal Night Crash
The rapper’s Volkswagen Polo collided with a truck and overturned. He was travelling with his daughter and two other passengers at the time. The crash occurred near Polokwane on the R37 road near the Smelters mine. Shebeshxt was en route to perform at an ANC Siyanqoba Rally celebration concert in Lebowakgomo on Sunday, June 9.
The impact of the collision was severe, and emergency responders quickly transported Shebeshxt to the hospital for treatment. While he survived, his daughter succumbed to her injuries. The other passenger sustained moderate-to-light injuries.
He spent almost ten days in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) before moving to a general ward. Shebeshxt has since been discharged and expects to attend his daughter’s funeral.

The incident has led to an investigation by the police, and there is a possibility of culpable homicide charges against him.
Jub Jub’s name got into the mix in all the melee, and some online characters accused him of being involved in the crash.
Jub Jub Addresses Allegation Of Involvement In The Shebeshxt Accident
As the rumour spread, Jub Jub took to his social media accounts to address them.
He pointed out that some people are opening accounts in his name to scam people and spread fake news.
He refuted:
“It has reached a point where it’s crossing the boundary, where they are speaking of Shebeshxt’s accident. I really have nothing to do with that. I have said nothing about it, I have no opinion, I don’t know the boy, I’ve never met [him] and no one should have an opinion too. Please let’s let him and his family grieve in peace and respect each other’s privacy.”
