Here Is How Lynn Forbes And DJ Zinhle Shared Heartwarming Moments On First Mother’s Day Without AKA
South African DJ and businesswoman DJ Zinhle celebrated Mother’s Day on May 14th with Lynn Forbes, the mother of her late baby daddy AKA, Nadia Nakai and Murdah Bongz.
This was the first Mother’s Day without AKA, who tragically passed away in a shooting incident outside of a restaurant in Durban on February 10th, along with his friend Tibz.
On her Instagram Story, DJ Zinhle posted a photo of a beautifully decorated dinner table lit with candles, and tagged AKA’s mother Lynn Forbes and influencer Nadia Jafta.
She also shared a story featuring Lynn Forbes spending time with her and Murdah Bongz’s daughter, Asante Mohosana.
Zinhle also shared photos of Nadia holding Kairo as well as a picture of Nadia and Asante together.
She also posted a heartwarming photo of Lynn Forbes hugging Murdah Bongz.
During an interview with eNCA, Lynn Forbes spoke about her relationship with both Nadia Nakai, who was AKA’s girlfriend at the time of his passing, as well as DJ Zinhle, who is the mother of AKA’s daughter Kairo Forbes.
Lynn Forbes revealed during the interview that she found it difficult to comprehend the criticism that has been directed towards her relationship with DJ Zinhle and AKA’s family.
In particular, there have been negative comments on social media about DJ Zinhle’s co-parenting relationship with AKA, with some claiming that she still has feelings for him.
Moreover, some Twitter users have pointed out that they have never seen DJ Zinhle take photos with her “husband” Murdah Bongz’s family, while pictures of her with Nadia, Lynn, and AKA’s father Tony Forbes recently went viral, sparking further discussion online.
In her interview with eNCA, Lynn explained that it is all about Kairo. She then spoken off a time when Kairo told her teacher she loves how much of love there is in her family.
“Kairo… a school teacher actually phoned me and she said to me. Their theme was on family and every child had to say what they love most about my family. And her answer was ‘what I love most about my family is that we all love each other’,” she said.
“It is the the most powerful thing ever. So I am sorry, we are just going to keep on loving each other and whoever can’t deal with it. You know it’s their problem,” she continued.
