A video showing a man viciously beating up a South African police officer has emerged on social media.
The shocking video clip has caused a stir on social media and has got social media buzzing.

The video which has been circulating on social media was shared by NewsO’clock on X. Captioning the video, they wrote;
“Man goes WWE wrestling with a SAPS officer and spits on him. Where is the respect for our law enforcement officers?”.
In the video footage, the police officer and the man can be seen engaged in a fight in the middle of the road.
They can be seen tussling and punching each other. The man became more aggressive and started viciously punching the police officer until he fell in the middle of the road.
The man didn’t stop; he continued to beat up the police officer as he lay on the road. At one point, he even spat at the police officer’s face.
Details about what really transpired before the man started assaulting the police officer are still sketchy. However, it is reported that the police officer is one that initially instigated the fight over a non-crime; then, he assaulted the civilian first.
