Mzansi Mocks Morda As DJ Zinhle Posts Her Late Baby Daddy AKA On Instagram
South Africans are mocking producer Morda after his wife, DJ Zinhle, posted multiple pictures of her late baby daddy AKA on Instagram.
DJ Zinhle and AKA had previously been in a relationship but split in 2015, after AKA’s affair with Bonang Matheba.
The former couple parted ways several months after DJ Zinhle gave birth to AKA’s only child, Kairo Owethu Forbes. They rekindled their love and went their separate ways sometime in 2020 after a year.
DJ Zinhle started a relationship with Morda, formerly known as Murdah Bongz, a former member of Black Motion.
In 2021, the two house music producers welcomed their first child together, named Asante.
DJ Zinhle and AKA had been successfully co-parenting, earning praise from fans for their maturity.
However, tragedy struck on February 10, 2023, when AKA was fatally shot by two unidentified individuals outside a popular restaurant in Durban.
The passing of her former partner AKA has caused DJ Zinhle profound sorrow as a result, she has been featuring the late Fela In Versace hitmaker on her Instagram Stories frequently.
Some people have raised concerns about this, as DJ Zinhle is currently married to Morda.
Earlier this week, AKA’s family disclosed his funeral details and clarified that Morda, whose real name is Bongani Mahosana, will not be present at the funeral due to cultural reasons.
One Twitter user explained why Morda cannot attend the funeral.
“The reason is they have children with the same woman, so somehow in our culture [men] are not supposed to share her blood. So if one dies, the other guy can follow him if he attends his funeral. [For example] if Bongz goes, he’ll get sick that day and die as well. The sickness is called makgoma.”
Some tweeps expressed mixed feelings over Morda as his wife posts AKA, her baby daddy, on her Instagram stories since he died.
