Never Too Old: Inspiring Story of Granny Who Pursued Her Dreams on Muvhango
Gogo Tshinakaho Mananga is a 96-year-old woman who recently became an actress on SABC2’s Muvhango. She plays the role of Vho-Nyadzenga, an ancestor and guides Lindelani.
Entertainment news commentator, Phil Mpela announced that the actress will be making her debut on Muvhango on his Instagram, and fans can not help but marvel.
The actress hails from Tshedzani Village, Limpopo, and was once cast as an extra on Muvhango during a location shoot in Venda. After her prayer was answered, she landed a role on the show.
Gogo Tshinakaho Mananga cannot read or write due to her age, so she relies on her casting agent, Nonkululeko Ndlovu, to help with her lines. Despite this, she has been performing well on the show.
