Onscreen Lovers That Should Be Together In Real Life
We’ve seen on-screen lovers that had such a strong connection on-screen that eventually manifested off-screen, such as Manaka Ranaka and her current baby daddy who fell in love on the set of Tshisa and have two kids today.
Other actors include the rumors that The Queen’s Kagiso and Vuyiswa had a full affair in real from the moment they met on the set Zabalaza years ago.
Here is a list of on-screen lovers that would make great couples off-screen:
Scandal’s Simo and Violetta
Scandal’s Sandile Mahlangu and Cindy Mahlangu who share a surname and are not related at all and debuted on the same would make such a hot item in real life. The two have a convincing connection and chemistry on-screen that we wish they’d actually date in real life, especially because Cindy is apparently single again after dumping her soccer player boyfriend. Sandile plays the role of Simo and Cindy plays the role of Violetta Mamba.
The current storyline: The two were pretending to be siblings and were having behind their spouses backs. Simo wanted nothing to do with Violetta recently when he found out Violetta poisoned his wife Grace so she could miscarry his child. Things are about to get heated because Mamba’s daughter just found out that her stepmother; Violetta is cheating on her dad with his accountant; Simo.
Rhythm City’s Sabelo and Sindiswa
The King and Queen of London aka Sabelo and Sindiswa have brought about that Kasi love that we can’t get enough of for years.
The current storyline: The two are currently married! However, that almost didn’t happen when Sabelo cheated on Sindiswa when they broke up. He cheated with Sindiswa’s maid of honor Puleng who happens to be Suffocate Ndlovu’s wife.
The fans of the show were really sad for Sindiswa when she found out because they love them together so much.
Durban Gen’s Dr. Mbali and Dr. Lindelani
Durban Gen’s Dr. Mbali played by an actress; Nelisiwe Sibiya and Dr. Lindelani played by Mike Ndlangamandla were trending recently as intimate images of them were revealed on social media.
Although it is unclear as yet if the images are from a scene on the ETV medical drama or whether they’re private images exposed by the media or fans. Fans are hoping that actor’s onscreen chemistry has rubbed off on them in real life that they’ve decided to date and make it official as they look great together.
The couple was spotted somewhere in Cape Town getting all cozy and lovey-dovey and fans can’t get enough of it. Although the actors and the show haven’t confirmed if the two are really dating, it’s clear that an on-screen love story might have just gone off-screen.

Uzalo’s Sbu and Fikile
Fikile and Sbu’s relationship is one of the most convincing, out of the couples in KwaMashu. The show has been giving us a Mzansi Bonnie and Clyde version through these two.
Fikile is played by WITS graduate; Nelisa Mchunu and Sbu are played by musician vs. actor; Simphiwe Majozi. The two are the perfect partners in crime as they continuously take us through an on-going Kasi love story…living in a shack, working in the Kasi, and surviving.
