Reality TV Star Sbahle Mpisane Arrested
Sbahle Mpisane, known for being a reality TV star and as the stepsister of Andile Mpisane, found herself in legal trouble recently.
The daughter of former traffic officer and businessman turned politician, Sbu Mpisane, and stepdaughter of Shauwn Mkhize, was arrested for reckless and negligent driving during the festive season.
The incident occurred in Midrand, leading to Sbahle spending a few hours in police holding cells before being released on bail.

Official Confirmation: Sbahle Mpisane Expected Back in Court After Being Arrested
Gauteng SAPS spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Mavela Masondo, confirmed the incident when contacted for comment. He stated that Sbahle Mpisane had already made her initial court appearance and would be re-appearing in court soon.
“I will confirm her court dates. Yes, the incident happened on Maxwell Drive, in Midrand. A 30-year-old woman was arrested and charged,” Masondo told ZiMoja.

Flashback to 2018: Sbahle’s Traumatic Car Crash
While details of the recent traffic infringement were not readily available, one might have expected Sbahle to exercise extra caution on the road, considering she is still recovering from a car accident that happened in 2018.
The 2018 accident took place around 4 am on the Victoria Embankment opposite Wilson’s Wharf in Durban. Sbahle Mpisane was rushed to an undisclosed hospital in an ambulance, where she was treated for multiple traumatic injuries.
Her BMW had caught fire after the crash, and a case of reckless and negligent driving was opened at the Durban Central police station. Throughout her recovery, Sbahle mentioned suffering severe head trauma and memory loss.
