Gospel musician Dr Winnie Mashaba has gotten married again two years after separation from her husband of 16 years.
The musician shared on her Instagram that she has finally married and shared pictures of herself in her traditional Makoti attire. The identity of her new husband is yet to be shared with the public, and she has been keeping it under wraps for the past year.
However, there is reason to believe that Winnie Mashaba is married to her baby daddy, with whom she shares her one-year-old daughter.

First marriage and divorce
Dr Winnie Mashaba hogged headlines in 2021 when it was revealed that she had divorced her husband of 16 years, Makgokgo Makgopa. The reasons for their divorce were rumoured to be because of infidelity.
Makgokgo was rumoured to have a close, questionable relationship with one of Winnie Mashaba’s backup singers. The two, who got married in 2005, reportedly called it quits in 2017, but the singer continued to wear her ring to keep her family away from the news.
Winnie stated that she respected her in-laws and did not want to bad mouth them in the media. She also said that she wished her future in-laws would be protected from the public’s eye.

Pregnancy and finding love after divorce
The following year, Winnie Mashaba announced she was pregnant with her first child. Later the same year, she announced the arrival of her daughter. The gospel musician was rumoured to be dating her former backup singer, but she never commented on the issue.
Congratulatory messages are pouring in for the gospel musician on her new union. Many fans and celebrities have wished Winnie well in her new journey in life with someone else.
