Social media users are having a field day after spotting striking similarities between actress Simz Ngema’s son and convicted criminal Thabo Bester.

Simphiwe “Simz” Ngema has a three-year-old son with SA-based Zimbabwean media personality and model Tino Chinyani. They initially surprised fans with a breakup announcement in September 2021. However, they have since rekindled their romance and confirmed they are back together.
The couple shares a son, Tiyani, and they have been co-parenting effectively despite their previous separation. Their reconciliation was publicly shared, with Ngema posting intimate pictures with Chinyani. Chinyani reciprocated with his own post, simply captioning it “forever” to signify their commitment.

Enter Thabo Bester Into The Mix
Simz Ngema became entangled in the Thabo Bester saga when allegations surfaced that she was the prominent celebrity who visited the convicted “Facebook rapist” and murderer in prison. The controversy began when a Twitter account revealed that Ngema had regularly visited Bester, which she initially denied.
Ngema later issued a statement, which she subsequently deleted, explaining her visit to Bester in prison was to demand payment for work she claimed he owed her. She stated that Bester, who introduced himself as TK Motsepe, had booked her for events in the entertainment industry, but she was never paid for some of these events. Ngema added that she only visited Bester once in 2018 and had cooperated with investigators regarding her relationship with him.
Tweeps Allege Similarities Between Simz Ngema’s Son And Thabo Bester
Social media users resurrected the story and alleged that Simz’s son Tiyani looks like Bester. They took a picture of the young family with Tiyani having long, curly hair and juxtaposed it with one of Bester with similar hair just after his capture in Tanzania last year.
