“Last Kicks Of A Dying Horse”| Simz Ngema Fights Back, Actress Responds To Backlash Over Thabo Bester Jail Visit Confession
Actress Simphiwe “Simz” Ngema has responded to criticism after admitting to visiting convicted criminal Thabo Bester in prison five years ago.
Ngema recently hogged the headlines when she disclosed that she visited Thabo Bester, also known as “TK Motsepe,” in 2018 to recover unpaid fees owed to her by his company, 21st Century Media, for various public appearances.
However, some people on social media criticized her statement, stating that it was illogical.
After enduring a week of negative feedback, Simz Ngema conveyed a message of optimism to herself.
In an IG Story on Friday, 5 May, she captioned a picture of herself:
“You’ve come a long way sisi. You’ve been through unimaginable pain, and you remain standing. These are the last kicks of a dying horse. God is with you, always.”
She later shared a post with similar sentiments. She captioned it:
“MaNgema, your biggest flex is not that you are beautiful inside and out but the fact that you can rise above anything. You’ve already conquered your worst nightmare. Keep your head up. Receive love from others with open arms and keep loving yourself.”

Thabo Bester Or TK Motsepe?
Simz Ngema’s remarks about Thabo Bester, also known as “TK Motsepe,” and his company “21st Century Media,” left social media users with numerous unresolved queries.
She stated that she visited Bester on April 5, 2018, but just two months later, he held a grandiose event at the Hilton Hotel in Sandton, where he launched his multimillion-rand enterprise, 21st Century Media.
During the launch, notable personalities such as Nomzamo Mbatha, Amanda du Pont, and Yvonne Chaka Chaka attended the event alongside Thabo Bester, who was utilizing the name “Tom” or “TK Motsepe.”
Bester deceived the public by claiming to reside in New York and being linked to billionaire businessman Patrice Motsepe.
However, the reality was that the convicted offender was residing in the Mangaung Correctional Centre.
Simz Ngema stated that she, too, sought “answers,” but she refrained from sharing them with the public.
Some Twitter users were left with questions about her association with a convicted criminal who was guilty of rape, murder, and fraud.
