Singing Like A Canary: Dr Nandipha Magudumana Throws Thabo Bester Under The Bus
Disgraced South African celebrity doctor Nandipha Magudumana is allegedly cooperating with the police by revealing her crimes with her boyfriend Thabo Bester.
A police source claimed that Magudumana is willing to reveal what happened to their two missing domestic employees, who were last seen at their hideout rental home in Hyde Park, Johannesburg. Earlier this month, the police raided the multi-million rand home after they were alerted that the bodies of Magudamana and Bester’s employees could be buried in the yard.

The police who visited Magudumana at Bizzah Makhate Female Prison in Kroonstad reported that she is cooperating with the investigators. She reportedly wants to “throw Bester under the bus for everything”. The cop also said that investigators will be taking Magudumana and Bester to the Hyde Park house they fled from to explain exactly where they allegedly buried the bodies.
Katlego Bereng Mpholo’s Family Suing State Over His Death
The charred body found in Bester’s cell has been confirmed to be 31-year-old Katlego Bereng Mpholo’s. The Salon owner died due to blunt force trauma to the head and was already dead before the prison caught fire. According to an interview with eNCA, Katlego’s family said that they are suing the state. Batho Mpholo, who is Katlego’s father, said they still have not been allowed access to his remains.
The bodies of the domestic employees are not the only ones Magudumana and Bester have to answer for. Magudumana and Bester have also been accused of committing several other crimes. In May last year, Bester staged his death to escape from the Mangaung Correctional Centre in Bloemfontein. The identity of the charred body found in his cell was initially believed to be his until DNA tests were conducted.

Dr Nandipha’s Crimes with Bester
Magudumana has been accused of crimes such as fraud and theft, and was arrested in June 2021. She was accused of allegedly stealing a patient’s insurance payout worth over R4.4 million. The police also discovered that she was working with her boyfriend, Bester, to recruit young girls to perform sexual acts with Bester. Magudumana was later charged with human trafficking, rape, and the production and distribution of child pornography.
