South Africans on social media believe the Queen of 14 February, Lerato Kganyago, has been dethroned by Skomota, who had a sweet Valentine’s Day.
Skomota The Viral Sensation
Skomota, also known as Ngwana Sesi, has been bossing the Mzansi social media streets since the last quarter of 2023. Last year, luck struck, and he placed a bet on a football match. He ended up winning about R3 million, and his life changed forever.
Skomota then began going around clubs and splashing his cash. Girls flock to give him attention and get a slice of his newfound wealth. At one point, some women stole money and a phone from him.
Skomota would be the centre of attraction at the clubs as he would rock patrons with his exciting dances.
Because of his social media fame, clubs took notice. Since last year, he has been cashing in from gigs and club appearances, and he has also been seen wearing expensive clothes and accessories.

Dance queen Makhadzi brought him on stage as a surprise guest act at the 2023 South African Music Awards. He performed with her the song Mapara, which sparked a viral dance challenge on social media platforms like TikTok and X.
Skomota Celebrates Valentine’s Day In Style
Yesterday, Skomota met up with his girlfriend and had a lovely and romantic time. In a video doing rounds online, the dancer was at a picnic with his woman.
The two enjoyed a bottle of wine, some chocolates and snacks. Skomota was having the time of his life as he leaned on the ground and sipped on the wine.
