In response to recent rumours surrounding their marriage, musician and entrepreneur Siyabonga Slikour Metane and his wife Melissa Wilkinson have issued a joint statement urging the public to respect their privacy as they go through their divorce.

“We have been married for over five years, and as with every marriage, we have our own trials and tribulations to face and overcome,” reads the couple’s joint statement. “While we acknowledge these challenges, we also would like the opportunity to work through them privately.”

Slikour and Melissa Commit to Family
Metane and Wilkinson emphasized their commitment to building a happy and healthy home for themselves and, most importantly, for their children. They requested that their marriage and family be treated with respect and sensitivity, emphasizing their right to privacy.
Addressing Allegations
Responding to allegations, the couple acknowledged being aware of recent claims regarding the state of their marriage. A source from Sunday World alleged that Wilkinson left the marriage due to emotional abuse, extramarital affairs, and financial and psychological mistreatment by Slikour.
