South Africa Mocks Burna Boy as Concert Postponed Due To Low Ticket Sales

South Africans on social media are over the moon after popular Nigerian musician Burna Boy postponed his concert.

Originally planned for this Saturday, the show will now happen on December 16.

Ticket Pro Reveals Why Burna Boy Concert Was Postponed

Burna Boy was supposed to perform in South Africa during the Heritage Weekend as part of his Africa tour. Some people on social media have speculated that the postponement was due to low ticket sales, a theory confirmed by Ticket Pro in a statement released on Tuesday.

“We regret to announce the postponement of the highly anticipated Burna Boy concert scheduled to take place at FNB Stadium, Johannesburg on 23 September 2023. The concert will now take place on 16th of December 2023.

This decision was not made lightly by the promoter and comes as a result of careful consideration and assessment of various factors, including the lack of ticket sales,” said the Ticket Pro statement.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause for those who have already purchased tickets,” read a statement by Ticket Pro.
