The Late Tshegofatso Pule Finally Gets Justice

The Gauteng police have finally arrested Tshegofatso Pule’s boyfriend!

Pule was the heavily pregnant woman who trended last year after being stabbed to death and was discovered hanging from a tree in Roodepoort.

Her boyfriend, Muzikayise Malephane, pleaded guilty to murdering Pule at the South Gauteng High Court and was sentenced to 20 years in prison.

The Police confirmed in a statement: 

“A 32-year-old suspect was arrested at his residence on Thursday evening, February 18, on suspicion of being an accomplice in the murder of Tshegofatso Pule who was killed in June last year.”

The boyfriend also stated that was offered an amount of R70 000 to murder his girlfriend Pule, who was allegedly pregnant with his child at the time of being murdered.

Police caught Pule’s boyfriend in Mpumalanga and arrested him in July after he ran away. Malephane abandoned his bail hearing as he feared being terrorized by the community. 

The late Pule was last been seen alive when her boyfriend requested to see her and images of her went viral with Mzansi requesting the president to step in.

It was reported that Pule’s murderer was offered R70 000 by her boyfriend who was married to murder her. 

Malephane to the court that the boyfriend first offered him R7000 to which he declined, then offered him R20 000 until he upped the offer to R70 000.

Pule’s baby daddy hired Malepane to kill Pule because he was married and didn’t want his wife to know about Pule and the baby. 

Eyewitnesses at the court also stated that Malephane was an emotional wreck at his first appearance in court in the Roodepoort Magistrate’s Court as he could not stop sobbing and could barely contain himself when he seated in the dock.

This is a developing story as Pule’s baby daddy is expected to appear in court soon.
