The eight-year-old girl, who miraculously emerged as the sole survivor of the devastating ZCC bus accident that claimed the lives of 45 church congregants, has returned home to Botswana in a grand style.

According to Century Buzz, Limpopo Health MEC Phophi Ramathuba instructed the AirLink hostess to accord preferential treatment to Lauryn Siako during the flight.

Sole Survivor Emerges: Lauryn Siako’s Journey of Recovery After Horrific ZCC Bus Accident

Lauryn Siako miraculously survived the horrific bus accident which happened on the 28th of March 2024.  The incident occurred when the bus, carrying members of the St. Engenas ZCC from Molepolole, Botswana, to Moria for the Easter Pilgrimage in Podingwana, veered off a cliff near Mmamatlakala, between Mokopane and Marken in Limpopo, before bursting into flames.

Lauryn Siako, who was with her grandmother at the time of the accident, emerged as the only sole survivor from the devastating accident. She was admitted to Mokopane Hospital with severe injuries, including temporary memory loss.

Lauryn Siako’s discharge from the hospital follows a visit by the Limpopo Department of Health MEC, Dr. Phophi Ramathuba, and Botswana’s High Commissioner, Dr. Sanji Monageng, on Saturday. During the visit, they expressed satisfaction with Lauryn’s physical recovery. However, they also acknowledged the long road ahead in addressing the psychological trauma she has experienced.

In light of that, Lauryn Siako is set to receive further medical attention upon arrival in Botswana.
