The Modest Reality: Prince Kaybee Disputes Claims of Being Among South Africa’s Top-Earning DJs

Renowned South African DJ, Prince Kaybee, has stirred up a storm on social media by vehemently refuting assertions that he stands among the highest-earning DJs in the nation.

Contrary to the ranking that slotted him ninth in the lineup, alongside rapper A-Reece and vocalist King Monada, Prince Kaybee firmly contends that he stands as one of the least affluent DJs in the field.

This revelation has triggered intense discourse among his followers, with some raising doubts about his credibility while others rally behind his standpoint.

The Alleged Placement

As per the contentious report, Prince Kaybee is purportedly positioned as the ninth highest-earning DJ in South Africa. This categorization situates him between rapper A-Reece, who commands a fee of R50,000 for appearances, and vocalist King Monada, who charges a slightly heftier R55,000 booking rate—comparable to Prince Kaybee’s. However, the DJ vehemently repudiates these assertions, asserting that he does not have any sizeable assets to his name.

Prince Kaybee’s Rebuttal

Venting his frustration on social media, Prince Kaybee expressed his exasperation with the report, labeling it a complete fabrication. He disavowed the possession of any properties and stated that he is far from being classified as one of the highest-earning DJs in South Africa. In actuality, he maintains that he’s among the least prosperous, citing his meager acquisitions as substantiation.

According to his statement, Prince Kaybee’s lone possession is a 1998 Mercedes-Benz, appraised at approximately R40,000. He underscores that this vehicle represents his solitary asset and attests to his absence of any other properties or valuable belongings.

“This is a lie, I’m the poorest DJ, I only have one car to my name, a 1998 Merc that values at about 40k, no properties, no nothing, Please get me out of these lists,” he stated.

Controversy Surrounding the Truck Enterprise

In response to queries from fans about his purported involvement in a truck enterprise, Prince Kaybee elucidates that the featured trucks are not his own. He clarifies that he simply posed with trucks belonging to someone else and urges his fans not to accept everything at face value. Nevertheless, notwithstanding this clarification, certain fans remain skeptical and accuse the DJ of being untruthful.
