AKA, born Kiernan Forbes, was shot dead together with his friend Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane outside WISH Restaurant in Durban last year. AKA was about to go to a club for his birthday celebrations when his life was cut short.
Times Of Eswatini revealed that the killers and their spotters trailed AKA right from King Shaka International Airport. They then hounded him to the Hilton Hotel and to WISH Restaurant, where they murdered him. After the murder of AKA, the two killers skipped the border to Eswatini, where they hid in a flat they rented in Mbabane.
