Trevor Noah Set To Host Another Show After The Daily Show
Trevor Noah, a comedian from South Africa, will host Amazon Prime’s first original South African series called “LOL: Last One Laughing.” The show will be the South African version of the International Last One Laughing Franchise that has taken the comedy world by storm.
The show will premiere early next year and feature some of South Africa’s top comedians. The unscripted six-part comedy series will air in 2024.
Ten famous South African comedians and performers will compete to win a grand prize of R1 million, which will be donated to the winner’s preferred South African charity. The candidates will try to make each other laugh without losing their composure.
Trevor Noah bid farewell to his job as the host of The Daily Show a few months ago. He was on the show for seven years before he finally left the job to give the next person a chance also.

Last One Laughing has been done in many countries around the globe, and many famous faces have hosted the show. These include Jay Baruchel (Canada), Fedez (Italy), Eugenio Derbez (Mexico), Rebel Wilson (Australia) and Michael “Bully” Herbig (Germany).
The franchise is popular worldwide and has been adopted in more than 20 countries with well-known hosts. Prime Video created the comedy franchise, and the series has been produced in over 20 countries and regions, with the first LOL: Last One Laughing Nigeria hosted by Nigerian comedian Basketmouth. Some versions of the show have received Emmy nominations in Germany and Australia.
