Uzalo’s GC Fired From Uzalo Again
Fans of SABC 1’s daily show, Uzalo are unhappy following revelations that their fav GC whose real name is Khaya Dladla had been stopped from working with the show again following his comeback not so long ago.
Khaya Dladla plays a comedic queer character on the show and has always been a fan-favourite.
The show stopped her from working with them sometime last year.
Her leave, and that of the likes of Mastermind and Thobekile among others had some punitive results on the show.
Uzalo quickly lost a following and its views became unstable.
As a result, the production team brought back GC (Khaya Dladla) with a promise that he was to be with the show for the rest of the season.
This, while other players like Thobekile and Mastermind were had clear contracts that they were to play only for a short time – during MaNgcobo’s (Dawn Thandeka King) farewell.
Sources close to the development say that Khaya Dladla is set to leave the show after short notice.
Reasons for this are yet unknown to the publication.
According to DailySun, Khaya was not willing to open up about the development.
He, however said that his future depends on Uzalo production team.
Fans have been complaining ever since he made a come back in March. They claim the writers deliberately made his storyline more boring.
This could be the reason why GC is being snubbed once again by Uzalo.
