VIP Lounge Chaos: MaMkhize And Andile Mpisane Face Allegations Of Assault On Security Guard
Royal AM Football Club owner Shauwn Mkhize, and her son, Andile Mpisane, have hogged the headlines after they reportedly attacked a security guard.
It is alleged the incident occurred when the guard denied the pair entry into a VIP lounge.
MaMkhize and her son Andile Mpisane were present at the Moses Mabhida Stadium where their team, Royal AM, was competing against AmaZulu FC.
During the match, they were involved in an altercation with a security guard who was stationed at the VIP lounge and reportedly attacked him.
Zimoja reported that MaMkhize and her son attempted to enter the VIP lounge by force, after being denied access by a security guard named Nkosinathi Mbanjwa.
The reason for the denial was that they did not have entry tickets or the necessary accreditation to gain entry into the VIP area.
Mbanjwa alleges that Andile, MaMkhize, and other members of the Royal AM team physically assaulted him, verbally abused him, and refused to provide their VIP access tickets when requested.
According to Mbanjwa, they even questioned his knowledge of their status and threatened to have him arrested.
“I got attacked for doing my job. Andile and his mother kept asking me if I knew who they were and threatened to get me arrested. They assaulted me and people were scared to intervene because MaMkhize is known by high-profile people,” he said.
Mbanjwa has opened a case against MaMkhize and her son. He claims that he sustained injuries that required medical attention.
It is further reported that Mbanjwa intends to sue MaMkhize and Andile Mpisane.
