A video of President Cyril Ramaphosa looking at Transport Minister Sindisiwe Chikunga’s back has left social media users cracking their ribs with laughter.
On March 6th, 2023, President Cyril Ramaphosa unveiled a cabinet reshuffle, which included the addition of new members and the rearrangement of existing ministers.
Amidst the changes, Nathi Mthethwa, the controversial Minister of Sports, Arts, and Culture who intended to construct a R22 million flag monument, was dismissed.
Fikile Mbalula, a vocal secretary-general of the African National Congress (ANC), was also removed and succeeded by his deputy, Sindisiwe Chikunga.
The following day, on March 7th, the newly appointed cabinet ministers and deputies were sworn in by Chief Justice Raymond Zondo in Cape Town. Paul Mashatile was inaugurated as South Africa’s new Deputy President.
During the ceremony, the Chief Justice then summoned the newly appointed Minister of Transport, Sindisiwe Chikunga, who gracefully walked to the front of the gathering.

When Sindisiwe Chikunga strutted forward for her swearing-in, her back and behind were right next to Ramaphosa, who could not help but steal a glance at the new minister’s wide hips and rounded behind.
The 64-year-old politician was clad in an olive green loose dress, which did nothing to conceal her heavy lower build.
