He obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, which he uses to operate businesses in the film, media, advertising, and event management sector. Upon his return to South Africa in 2004 and Nesheshe graced our screens in a number of television shows including Muvhango, SABC 3 comedy-drama One Way, M-Net’s Egoli, and Jacob’s Cross, SABC 2 sitcom Skwizas and the ITV drama Wild at Heart, among many others. He left his most prominent role in June 2008 after rumors of a pay dispute with producer Duma Ka-Ndlovu. Ka-Ndlovu disputed these claims and insisted the actor’s contract was not renewed due to performance after he had been warned several times but did not take the warnings seriously.
That was not the last time the actor was in the headlines for all the wrong reasons, in 2018 Nesheshe was embroiled in a nasty divorce with his ex-wife Lesley. Nesheshe described the process as draining and accused his former wife of coming for everything he has. Though rumors that he was already dating someone even before the divorce was finalized, Mutodi said he was mostly concerned about his children. The couple met when they were both in the US and shared a house in the leafy suburb of Honeydew in Johannesburg. Lesley says his attitude towards her changed over time and that led to their separation and ultimate divorce.
Despite his rumored playboy tendencies and failed divorce, the comment section of Nesheshe’s picture was lit with tweeps thirsting after the popular actor.
