Gomora Shows Mazet Actress Siphesihle Ndaba The Exit Door
Actress Siphesihle Ndaba’s character, Mazet has been written off from the TV series Gomora.
As it is alleged that the character of Mazet will not be featured on the show starting next month.
Zimoja reports that Siphesihle Ndaba was shown the exit door because she “lacked something for the show.”
“Don’t take me wrong, she is a brilliant actress, but she lacked something for the show,” one of the sources revealed.
A different source who also spoke to the publication said that the producers terminated Siphesihle Ndaba’s contract due to a lack of passion.
The source disclosed that the actress no longer has the same level of vitality that she had when she initially joined the telenovela.
In addition, the source said the show’s writers attempted to revitalize Siphesihle Ndaba’s character and wardrobe. However, despite their efforts, it did not have the desired effect, resulting in the decision to let her go.
“When she joined the show, she won the hearts of the viewers with her enthralling performances as Mazet, but she no longer has that thing.” At first, they thought changing her wardrobe would add a different element but nothing changed. “They put her in a relationship but there was no range of emotions, and this was the last option,” the source revealed.
This comes just a month after Siphesihle Ndaba shared details of how she landed her first television acting role on Gomora.
The actress recently disclosed that she secured her role on Gomora shortly after completing her studies.
She stumbled upon the audition notice on Instagram and, since she had just finished school and had no plans, decided to give it a try.
Siphesihle said she almost skipped the auditions but, with the help of divine intervention, went through with it, and after four callbacks, she landed the role.
