Gossip Blogger Musa Khawula appears in court again over Khambule’s murder
A gossip blogger, Musa Khawula, appeared for trial in Vredenburg, South Africa on 8 March. He is accused of fatally stabbing his ex-boyfriend, Wandile Khambule, on 4 March 2022. Khambule was stabbed with a knife and died from his injuries.
According to reports, Khawula went to see Khambule and found him with his girlfriend. This allegedly led to an argument, which resulted in Khambule being stabbed. Khawula was granted bail and appeared in court on 7 March 2022.
Sweetness Jahfta, the deceased’s girlfriend, said Khawula arrived at around 5 pm and demanded to see Khambule. Jahfta said that Khambule refused to speak to Khawula and asked him to leave. Jahfta then asked the two men to go outside and speak, as there were other people in the house.

A few moments later, Jahfta heard people outside pleading with Khawula to stop stabbing Khambule. When she went outside to see what was happening, she saw Khawula running after Khambule with a large knife and stabbing him. Khambule fell in front of her brother’s bakkie. One of Jahfta’s friends tried to intervene, but he was also stabbed by Khawula.
Ever since then till now, Musa Khawula who is known for dishing out gossip on celebrities has been in and out of court as the issue keeps being postponed. This time was also not that different for the gossip blogger as Musa Khawula’s court appearance was brief, and the magistrate postponed the matter until 26 June.
