“Resolving Beef” | AKA’s Family Welcomes Cassper Nyovest To Their Home
Cassper Nyovest visited AKA’s family and paid his respects after Kiernan Jarryd Forbes died.
On Tuesday, the Doc Shebeleza crooner went to the Forbes family’s house in Bryanston, Johannesburg, to pay his respects.
According to Sunday World, a source claimed that Cassper Nyovest met with AKA’s family and told them that the “beef” between him and AKA was not as bad as some people on social media thought.
“Cassper Nyovest arrived there and told AKA’S family that the much-publicised beef between him and AKA was over-exaggerated and that they were getting along very well and shared the same vision,” said the source.
Cassper Nyovest told AKA’s family in person that he couldn’t attend the funeral or memorial service because he had to go on a work trip.
“He then told the family that he would not be able to attend the funeral because he was flying out of the country on a business trip,” said the source quoted by the publication.
This development came after critics expressed their anger towards Cassper Nyovest for not visiting the family of the late rapper and not attending the memorial and funeral service.
Cassper Nyovest wished he could have attended the funeral to say goodbye to AKA since he shared great moments with the Sim Dope rapper, who greatly influenced the music industry.
“Unfortunately, I’ll be out of the country for work, but if I was around, I would’ve went. I would’ve went to the funeral too. No matter how you look at it, me and Kiernan shared a lot of great moments together and he contributed to my industry so I have to pay my respects, “Cassper Nyovest tweeted.
