Church Leader Caught Read-Handed with Naked Congregants
The arrest came after she was discovered in a house being used as a church, alongside five naked adults and 11 children. Captain Sam Tselanyane, the provincial police spokesperson, confirmed the shocking development.
Speaking to IOL, Captain Sam Tselanya revealed that the children, aged between four and 12 years old, were present during this distressing discovery.
Captain Tselanyane further detailed that during the search, Menziwa was the only individual found clothed. Subsequently, all the children, comprising six boys and five girls, were removed from the premises and placed under the care of social workers for immediate intervention.
“The convict was the only individual who was found clothed at the time and she was allegedly the church leader. Subsequent to preliminary investigations, all children between the ages of four to twelve; six boys and five girls, were removed from the house and handed to social workers for intervention, and ultimately placed under the care of other family members,” Tselanyane said.
The case was swiftly transferred to the Rustenburg Family Violence, Child Protection, and Sexual Offences (FCS) unit for in-depth investigation.
