Social Media Abuzz As AKA’s Tombstone Goes Missing From Gravesite

Following AKA’s befitting burial last Saturday, social media erupted in turmoil after his tombstone was removed.

AKA was tragically shot and killed outside Wish Restaurant on Florida Road, Durban.

On Thursday, a video surfaced on social media showing the absence of AKA’s tombstone, leading to rumors that it had been stolen.

However, these rumors have since been dismissed as false by Josh Kenp, the Operations Manager at Authentic Stones.

According to Kenp, the rapper’s family was aware that the tombstone had been removed after the burial, and it was not stolen.
Kenp added that the tombstone was only at the funeral for unveiling purposes.

“The family is very much aware that the tombstone was removed after the burial. The tombstone was only at the funeral on Saturday for unveiling purposes, hence it was removed afterwards,” Josh Kenp.

Josh Kenp also explained that AKA’s tombstone had to be temporarily removed to allow the surface to solidify.

He said a concrete foundation will be laid, and the tombstone will be installed again once the foundation is completed.

“At the Westpark Cemetery where AKA has been laid to rest, you can’t do the installation directly after the funeral and you are not allowed to do installations on Saturdays, so we have to install it during the week where we will lay the concrete foundation as the burial is already done. But because the cemetery gave us special permission to install the tombstone of the late legend immediately, this is why we will install it back again either this week or next week,” said Kenp.
