Tamia Mpisane discusses her social media life after marriage
Tamia Mpisane, the wife of Andile Mpisane, the son of the wealthy socialite Shauwn Mkhize, has opened up about how her social media life has changed after getting married into the Mpisane family. The socialite, who was a social media influencer and model before marrying Andile in December 2021, recently went live on Instagram for the first time since her marriage to talk about how being married to a famous man has affected her social media presence.
Before getting married, Tamia would occasionally go live on Instagram. However, since joining the Mpisane family, she has had to change how she conducts herself on social media, given the attention and number of people following her. In her words, “It was a very big change.”

Tamia rules out joining Real Housewives of Durban
During her Instagram live session, Tamia was also asked whether she would consider joining the cast of the Real Housewives of Durban. Tamia said that she didn’t think she was cut out for reality TV because she found it challenging to tolerate people constantly having her on their lips. She stated that she knew when and where to speak and even struggled to post her day-to-day life on her stories.

Tamia’s decision to avoid reality TV does not come as a surprise, given the fact that the Mpisane family has already made their debut on the Real Housewives of Durban, where they gave viewers a glimpse into their opulent lifestyle. Tamia has shown that she wants to maintain a low profile on social media, despite her newfound fame as a result of her marriage to Andile Mpisane.
