On Wednesday, 31 May, South African rappers Cassper Nyovest—real name Refiloe Maele Phoolo and Nsikayesizwe David Junior Ngcobo, best known by his stage name Nasty C had their fans’ tongues wagging when they announced that they would be going on tour together.
Highly-Anticipated Album Release
Cassper Nyovest also recently announced his highly-anticipated upcoming album would be coming out on 28 July and revealed that the album would be named Solomon. Meanwhile, Nasty C has been networking internationally. He was recently seen living his best life in London, England, and has also been rubbing shoulders with American A-listers such as Chris Brown, Rick Ross, and more.
Mutual Respect and Collaboration
Cassper Nyovest and Nasty C have shown respect towards each other’s music in the past. According to Briefly, in 2022, the Mama I Made It hitmaker took time from his schedule to give Nasty C’s mixtape titled Ivyson Army Tour Mixtape a nod. And now, both rappers announced that they were going on an African Throne tour together.
Taking to his timelines on Wednesday, the #FillUpTheDome rapper posted a video of his tour plans with Nasty C and said, “Be scared. Me and bro @nasty_csa going on tour TOGETHER!! Can anybody say Hip hop? #AfricanThrone”
