“We Never Die, We Multiply”-Fans Remember Riky Rick On His Death Anniversary
Yesterday [Thursday] marked one year since South African rapper Riky Rick died.
Riky Rick, whose real name was Rikhado Muziwendlovu Makhado, sadly passed away on February 23, 2022, at the age of 34. He sadly took his own life.
Riky Rick, the late award-winning rapper, tweeted his last message: “I’ll come back as a stronger person. This place is still my home.” The message was the rapper’s famous quote from his popular song “Home” featuring Mas Musiq.
His unexpected death at an early age left Mzansi shocked and devastated.
Since it was the rapper’s death anniversary, fans took to social media to honour him, his music, and his famous quotes.
Cotton Fest held a ceremony to remember the life of Riky Rick, who passed away one year ago.
“JOIN US Cotton Eaters. Let’s get together to remember the life of Riky Rick on Thursday, February 23 at Newtown Junction – 100 Carr Street, Newtown. WE NEVER DIE, WE MULTIPLY!” reads the tweet.
