‘What About Okuhle?’ Pearl Thusi Faces Criticism Over Not Posting Her Adopted Daughter

South African actress Pearl Thusi has been on the move for the past few months, travelling between countries such as the United States, Nigeria, India, and Brazil for work. While many would envy her jet-setting lifestyle, the Queen Sono star revealed on Instagram that she misses her daughter, Thandolwethu, who is still in South Africa.

However, when Thusi only posted a photo of her and Thandolwethu, many of her followers questioned her about the absence of Okuhle. Pearl Thusi adopted the child, and she has been open about the difficulties of raising an adopted child. Still, she has also been adamant about keeping Okuhle’s story private until she is ready to share it herself.

Pearl Thusi Complimented for her parenting style to her adopted and biological daughter.

Thusi did not respond to the criticism and has kept the post up, making it clear that she will not entertain questions about her parenting style. This is not the first time Thusi has been complimented on her parenting skills. After the passing of AKA, Thandolwethu was a pillar of support to DJ Zinhle and Kairo Forbes, and Thusi was praised for raising a daughter who was so kind and supportive.
