Katlego Maboe, a well-known South African TV personality, has been chosen to host the local version of the globally popular game show ‘Deal or No Deal’. Katlego Maboe is the new presenter of Deal or no deal
Lala Tuku, Head of Local Programming for SABC, expressed excitement over the show, saying “We are thrilled to bring this exciting, high-energy program to our viewers. We will be using the successful format that has made ‘Deal or No Deal’ a global phenomenon, but the show will also have new ideas that are uniquely South African.”
Katlego Maboe was once a force to be reckoned with as a Television presenter. This was before his ex-wife Monique Muller dragged his name in the mud with cheating and abuse allegations. Katlego found himself losing a lot of jobs and endorsements.
Maboe spent two years with no job and no source of income going in and out of the courts trying to clear his name. Finally, in 2022, the presenter finally was cleared of all charges and he was given back his job as a presenter on Expresso. On top of that, he became a Wellness podcast host and is now making his biggest comeback as the presenter of the famous International show Deal Or No Deal.
