Shebeshxt’s Family Gives Health Update as Rapper Remains Hospitalized After Tragic Accident
Popular musician Lehlogonolo Chauke, widely known as Shebeshxt, remains in hospital following a devastating car accident that occurred on June 8.
The crash tragically claimed the life of his nine-year-old daughter, Onthatile Chuene.

Shebeshxt’s Condition: Family Gives Health Update
Shebeshxt’s family recently gave a health update on the rapper since the accident.
According to Lot Ramusi, the spokesperson for Chauke’s family, the rapper has undergone multiple surgeries this week and is slowly recovering.
Shebeshxt has reportedly started talking again and can now communicate properly.
“We just keep on praying. He is coming alright. He is going through different operations. At least he has started talking again. He started talking properly again on Monday,” Ramusi shared with Sunday World.Sunday World.
Tragic Accident That Claimed the Life of Shebeshxt’s Daughter Onthatile Chuene
The accident, which took place on the R37 road near Smelters Mine, involved Shebeshxt’s Volkswagen Polo colliding with a truck and overturning.
The musician was on his way to perform at an ANC Siyanqoba Rally celebration concert at Zone R Park in Lebowakgomo when the incident occurred. He was dropping off Onthatile and her mother at their home before heading to the concert.
Tragically, his daughter died in the accident, while he and his girlfriend survived and sustained some injuries.
Shebeshxt’s mother revealed that the rapper sustained serious injuries, including a broken leg, abdominal injuries, and head trauma. Despite these injuries, the family is hopeful about his recovery.

Family Deliberates on Funeral Arrangements for Onthatile
The family spokesperson also addressed the matter of Onthatile Chuene’s funeral, stating that no date has been set yet.
“The family is aware that the country has been supporting them and that the people want to come to the funeral. But this will be determined by the family,” Ramusi said.
The decision hinges on the doctors’ assessment of whether Shebeshxt will be able to attend his daughter’s funeral.
