The tragic incident comes just a few weeks after the death of another South African musician, AKA, who was shot and killed on his way to his birthday gig in Durban. Costa Titch and AKA had worked on a hit song titled “Nkalakatha” with the late Ricky Rick. The deaths of the three artists have left fans and industry players devastated.

Costa Titch, whose real name is Costa Tsobanoglou, was born in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga. His team and family have not yet released a statement regarding the cause of his death. The South African music industry has lost some of its brightest and most talented artists in recent years, with the deaths of stars like DJ Dimplez, DJ Sumbody, and Mampintsha, among many others.
